Swim meets are a fun experience and allow teammates to bond with another and support each other in competition.  The following are tips on what to pack and how to survive a swim meet. 
- Patience! Meets are typically about three hours long
 - Weather varies and can often change throughout the day, pack for cold, hot and wet weather
 - Shelter is highly recommended. Invest in a pop-up tent for both hot and wet weather
 - Stadium chairs
 - Blanket
 - Trash bags to keep your items dry in case of rain
 - A Sharpie for writing events on your swimmers' wrists
 - Plenty of sunscreen
 - Hats for sun protection
 - Extra swim suits, caps and goggles
 - Extra towels
 - Extra sweatshirts and sweatpants
 - Entertainment to fill time between races (cards, games, coloring books)
 - Plenty of water and drinks
